This piece grabbed my attention immediately when I saw it in my messages. The beautiful flowing watercolor arc that makes up the headband and part of the hair adds so much interest to what would otherwise be a very well-executed but not necessarily memorable portrait. This splash of watercolor across a black and white sketch seems to be a recurring motif in your work, and it's always used very creatively and effectively.

The shading of the face and neck is excellent, simple yet effective. The only part that seems sort of flat to me is the eyes, they don't seem to fit with the rest of the picture. The rims around her irises are as dark as her pupils and darker than her nostrils, which looks very unnatural, especially when her irises are so much lighter and it looks like she is intended to have pale eyes.

I love the way the hair is shaded, it looks very realistic and shiny and the few flyaway strands create sort of a romantic look, especially when combined with the expression and floral headband. The title invokes a sense of nostalgia or mystery that adds another layer of depth to the image.

Great work, I love your style!
